Position Summary:

The outside sales representative is the primary contact for the dealer market. On the road most of the time, the outside sales representative schedules routine client visits to maintain customer satisfaction and business, promotes product, and reaches out to prospective clients for new accounts.

Responsibilities

Road

  • On the road between 70% to 80% of the time visiting our dealer accounts.
  • Inspects job sites and manages customer complaints in the field or at store level
  • Promotes new products and provides industry information, product knowledge training and sales strategies

Office

  • Prepares and presents sales contracts and proposals
  • Follows-up and responds to customer inquiries by phone and email
  • Provides status reports on existing or new clients, sale trends and purchasing activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent

Licenses/Certificates:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean Driver’s License Abstract

Years of experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales

Language requirements:

  • Proficiency in English, spoken and written
