Stella-Jones seeks a qualified Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor for the Silver Springs, NV operation.  The Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor performs and participates in procedures and programs to minimize environmental, health and safety risks and is responsible for ensuring EHS and Quality compliance at the facility location.  This role will also be responsible for acitivies in the Eloy, AZ and Fresno, CA locations



  • Conducts EHS facility inspections
  • Performs EHS facility audits and training
  • Work with regulatory agencies to obtain EHS permits
  • Develop, implement and maintain EHS policy, programs and procedures as needed for compliance
  • Perform accident and incident investigations as necessary
  • Provides directions to other department supervisors and plant employees regarding safety and environmental matters
  • Accurate and timely EH&S reporting and recordkeeping
  • Occasional travel to EHS training events
  • May be responsible for additional plant operations
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned



  • High School Diploma or GED. Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Safety Science
  • 1+ years EHS consulting or facility EHS management in a manufacturing industry preferred
  • Valid US State driver's license
  • Proficiency with computers (specifically Microsoft Office Products)
  • EHS management system implementation experience preferred
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Experience in training and development
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
